About Us

What do we do?

Do you create electronic music “in the box”, but want to spice up your tracks with a raunchy analogue synth lead or bass line? Do you produce your tracks using plugins, but feel you need something extra to really bring them to life? Are you having trouble getting the kick or snare drum to cut through your mix? Or maybe you’re just curious how a stereo bounce to a high-end vintage reel-to-reel would affect the overall sound and coherence of your music?

We at Omega Continuum Productions understand that you want your music to sound good… real good! And let’s face it, if you want to stand out in today’s highly competitive music business, sounding the-best-you-possibly-can is the only viable option! However, we also understand that many of us are forced to use subpar equipment or revert to digital plugins emulating the sound of professional, often analogue hardware. And only a lucky few have access to the same high-end recording or mixing studio’s with all the top-notch outboard gear our favourite bands use.

Omega Continuum Productions seeks to level the playing field by making high-quality music and recording equipment available to musicians on any budget, and to do so in the easiest, most accessible way possible: through the Internet!

Over the years, Omega Continuum Productions has built a professional studio consisting of a wide array of top-grade audio equipment which we are putting to work for you! Whatever it is your tracks need, we will find a way to make them sound better, using gear that the world’s best sound engineers rely on every day. And all that at a price practically anyone can afford!

And how does it work?

Unfortunately, we cannot turn you into a rock star overnight, but we can give you access to the same studio-grade gear that rock stars use! Compressors, reverbs, equalisers, effects processors, preamplifiers, tape recorders, dozens of stomp boxes and a top-quality mixing desk, along with some of the most exclusive, desirable and hard-to-get synthesisers currently known to man. In other words…

No matter what you throw at us, we have the tools to make it sound better.

Simply upload your MIDI file and we’ll run it through our semi-modular MacBeth M5N, turning it into a bass line that growls and bites and gives your track that essential analogue edge that most home productions are missing. Drums not popping? Find out what happens when we feed them through our API 2500 stereo buss compressor – the real thing, not the computer emulation! Need big, evolving and real analogue pads? Our Alesis Andromeda A6 has you covered! Or what about using an Eventide H8000FW to add a high-quality plate reverb to your vocal track?

Just tell us what you need and we’ll put our heads, hands, ears and gear to work and make your tracks sound good… real good! Please feel free to check out our studio equipment catalogue and don’t hesitate to drop us a line!

We look forward to hearing from you!

blueSky provides three different reverb types, each with three modes, for a total of nine completely unique reverb experiences. blueSky even delivers an extremely versatile plate reverb, a rarity for a stompbox pedal.
  • Strymon BigSky

  • API Audio 2500 Stereo Compressor
If you’re after versatile compression, the API 2500 is a stellar pick. This stereo bus compressor sports API’s patented “thrust” circuit, which ensures you can snag a hearty, chest-hitting low end. While the API 2500 is set up for stereo compression, you can also use it as two separate units. However you use it, though, you’ll have a range of compression styles to dial in – all musical, all incredibly usable.
  • Tube-Tech CL 2A Dual Opto Compressor
The TUBE-TECH CL 2A is an all-tube optical compressor with two independent, linkable channels. CL 2A is a great compressor on all sources, and it is widely known as an excellent “problem solver” when delicate gain control is called for. Use it on keyboards, guitars, vocals or even on the mix buss – the result is always musical, smooth and transparent. Among engineers, the CL 2A is loved because of its ability to keep instruments at their right place in the mix, while still retaining their dynamics.
  • Thermionic Culture Phoenix Mastering Plus
The Thermionic Culture Phoenix Mastering Plus is an all-valve, classic hand-built point-to-point wired soft-knee compressor with a compression ratio from 1.2:1 to 5:1 at 15dB of compression and uses Mullard and Siemens valves and custom Sowter transformers. It sounds fat, colourful when needed and glorious. If you are looking for a compressor that can really “glue” a mix and make it sound like a finished record, then it doesn’t get much better than The Phoenix!

  • Thermionic Culture The Swift
This two channel equaliser had been designed to be as much at home in tracking individual instruments or sitting across a stereo mix buss to equalise the final mix. The Swift utilises influences of 2 classic designs of the “golden days” of all-valve recording with improvements to bring the specs up-to-date for today’s pro use, plus added features of our own designs.

The main electronics are based around a 1950s EMI desk but with extended top and bass response. It had a BAXANDALL type active eq which we’ve kept and we added a Presence switch to give a broad band lift to mid/hi frequencies. The mid lift controls are based on the Pultec design and are passive. For speedy operation and economy we have chosen just 4 frequencies, with 3 “Q” settings. Special features are an all-passive Hi Pass Filter, Mid Cut and “Air” section.

  • Toft Audio ATB 24
The Toft ATB24 console packs the same powerful equalizer that was used on the illustrious Trident Series 80 boards and is regarded as one of the best sounding mixing consoles on the market today! Supporting 24 channels, 8 busses and a master control section only seen in more expensive, high-end recording consoles, the Toft ATB24 unleashes all your creativity without any limits or boundaries.
  • Telefunken M21
The Telefunken M21 is the absolute summit of the Telefunken line of reel to reel recorders. An extremely rare, professional, high-end tape machine with that sound!
  • Kemper Profiling Amp
The Kemper Profiler is the all-in-one solution for electric guitar and bass. It’s a multi-effect-processor, preamp and optional poweramp. Due to its high connectivity it fits perfect to all purposes, no matter if you’re playing live, at home or in the studio. Aside from the usual presets, our studio has hundreds of additional profiles, recorded under perfect conditions in professional studios worldwide.
  • Stomp boxes
An extensive array of boutique stomp boxes from various, highly sought-after manufacturers such as Lone Wolf Audio, Black Arts Toneworks, Strymon, Dr. No, Emma Electronics etc.

Technical details

We at Omega Continuum Productions pride ourselves in the unrivalled versatility and high-end quality of our studio. Whatever it is you need, we will process your tracks and give them that, often indefinable, little extra to make them stand out against the competition.

We will bring life and luster back to the cold, sterile mixes you were getting in the box by running it through our Toft Audio ATB24 mixing console. We will compress your drums hard, soft or not at all – just adding some pleasant tube warmth. We will improve your vocal tracks by adding tape saturation, mild harmonic analogue distortion or add a high quality, out of this world reverb to your synth pads.

All our processed material is recorded in Logic Pro X through one of our three RME Fireface 800’s audio interfaces, an undisputed industry standard, at a 44.1 kHz sample rate and a resolution of 24 bits, unless you request a different format. We will then send our processed tracks, with a 100% wet mix for parallel mixing purposes, back to you in WAV format. Again, unless you specify otherwise.

Our studio has a fully modular architecture, centred around a total of 7 fully balanced, 48 channel patch bays, allowing you to choose, add, insert and combine elements as you see fit and create your very own, customised processing chain.

We could, for instance, add some tube saturation to a percussive track, but why stop there? Why not send the saturated signal to an analogue op-amp compressor? And then, let’s add an intricate delay pattern or a stepped pitch shifter to really get things going! Again, the possibilities are endless and the only limit – indeed, your imagination!

Well okay then, we’ll admit it… we’re not rocket scientists. So for everyone’s sake, we decided to keep our price policy as simple and straightforward as possible.

How much does it cost? The answer is simple: 25 euro’s… excluding taxes.

Let us explain. For every studio element your signal passes, we charge 25 euro’s. Say you want us to convert a MIDI file to audio by sending it through the Modal 008, i.e. one studio element, that’ll be 25 euro’s please. If you then want us to add some shimmer or delay to the track with, for example, the Strymon Timeline, it will be an extra 25 euro’s. Then we ask for another 25 euro’s for bouncing it to analogue tape, if you so desire.

Should you supply us with two tracks, even when they both go through the same processor, instrument or what have you, it will set you back 50 euro’s – 2 signals x 1 element equals 50. It’s as simple as that… really!

We’ll even include one revision per signal, meaning that if you provide us with constructive, targeted and specific feedback, we’ll retrace our steps, make the necessary adjustments and supply you with a brand new, altered version of your track. Free of charge!

Occasionally, we also provide mixing services. So if you’re looking for someone to provide you with a professional end mix of your tracks, using only the very best outboard gear, please get in touch and we’ll see what we can do.
